As director of photography, I played a critical role in overseeing all visual and technological aspects of the multiday shoot, including set layout, lighting, cameras, audio, and production teams. I worked closely with the director on site scouting and concept design. I also oversaw all technology design, gear procurement, and film team recruitment and scheduling. Over the course of several days, we filmed 8 teachers speaking to a live small group audience with a 4-camera shoot.
After production wrapped, I transitioned to the role of primary editor to create a series of 7 videos for use in the class (about 6 hours of content). I worked closely with the client to provide appropriate additional motion graphics as needed to enhance the teaching and align with the classroom materials and experience.
Finally, I created a trailer incorporating all 8 teachers for use in promotion of the class.
